Power Rankings

1. Monterrey Corn Dogs - The Corn Dogs hold onto to the top spot. The CDs aren't quite as dominant as they were early in the season, but they are still the best in the AL and possibly the league. They currently have a virtually insurmountable 16 game lead in the AL South.

2. Chicago Cubs - Last seasons champs look prepared to defend their title. They are currently 1 game back of the division leading Reds in the NL North. They currently have the 2nd best era in the league.

3. Cincinnati Reds - The Reds recent schedule has been brutal with series against the Swingers, Cubs, Marlins, Astros, and Stangs. The battle for the NL North looks like it could come down to the last few games. They currently have the best era in the league.

4. Louisville Swingers - The Swingers have come from behind to take a 6 game lead in the NL South. It appears the Swingers are going to be the team to beat in the South. I dont think there is a team in the NL that wants to play them in playoffs.

5. Salem Mayhem - Talk about coming out of nowhere. The Mayhem now have the 4th best record in the NL, and a comfortable 17 game lead in the West. They probably have the best record in the league over the last 30 or so games.

6. Las Vegas Slobs - The Slobs have been up and down all season. At times they are absolutely dominant. They currently have the 2nd best record in the AL, and an 11 game lead over the Dirt Bags in the AL West.

7. Atlanta Pork N Beans - The early part of the season was brutal on the PnBs, but they appear to be playing much better. Recently they took 2 of 3 against the Pirates, Mayhem and Stangs, and 2 of 4 against the Swingers. They now have a 6 game lead over the Pirates in the NL East.

8. Nashville Marlins - The Marlins are currently only one game back of the struggling Astros in the NL Wild Card standings. They are still in contention in the South only 7 games back of the Swingers.

9. Salt Lake City Multiple Spouses - The Multiple Spouses lead in the AL North is now only 5 games over Detroit with the Blue Jays and Barracudas only 7 games back. The MS have been one of the best in the AL this season, but they will need to continue to play well if they want to win their division.

10. Detroit Detroit - The Deuce Droppers and Astros both have a better record, but their both struggling. Detroit has been playing really well lately. They have managed to pull within 5 games of the Multiple Spouses in the AL North. Earlier this week they managed to sweep the #1 ranked Corn Dogs in a 3 game series. They also took the first from the CDs in a 4 games series.
